CareNet will provide nurse triage services via a toll-free number 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, consisting of the following:

Nurse Triage Services Includes :

Each nurse call will be documented to include at least the following information :

• Name of caller
• Member’s name
• Date
• Time call initiated and ended
• Age
• Sex
• Date of birth
• Address of the Member
• Phone number calling from
• Home number
• Work number
• Clinic location seen at
• Patient Care Coordinator taking the call
• Name of RN providing assistance
• Chief complaint(s) of Member
• Guidelines used
• Member/caller understanding of instructions
• Member’s/caller’s intent
• Member/caller ability to repeat instructions (in own words)

Documentation management will be HIPAA compliant.

CareNet provides deaf and foreign language services through the use of TDD and a language line service. This service can be accessed by members being triaged twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, including holidays.
